Henry

I would like to introduce you to Henry. Henry is an acquaintance of mine. I have known him for exactly three weeks, not a day more and not a day less. He is an awkward little fellow, quite short and round. He is always smiling, but I don't think he is happy. I know he is hiding some dirty little secret.

Every Thursday, I spend four hours of my evening with Henry. He follows me around, but doesn't say a word. It might not be so bad, except he is constantly tripping or falling over. He doesn't move around large objects very well, so I have to pick him up time and time again. Don't feel sorry for me though. I chose to spend time with Henry. If I knew he was going to be like this, I might have reconsidered. Now I am stuck with him. At least I am getting paid to be his "friend."

Henry is at home now, most likely sitting in the dark. I think he likes it best that way, but I can't know for sure. Someone just told me that's where he belongs. I don't think I will ever get along with Henry. But I guess I just have to suck it up.

This is Henry.

haha, you had me going for a bit there! You're so funny, you should become a comedian instead a history buff!

I am glad to see that you are making new friends, even if he is quite quiet and doesn't have too many insightful ponderings to share with you while in your company. It has been known to watch out for the quiet ones so if Henry starts to make extra loud sounds and whining noises, take heed! He may be telling you that he wants to share his dirty little secrets. Otherwise, he does seem like a nice fellow as he does have quite a nice smile and friendly eyes! Have fun getting to know him better!! Say hi to your other "quiet" friend!! Love and miss you both. Have a happy Thanksgiving. Hopefully, there will be enought potatoes to go around!!

I had a friend Henry too, I think he has a twin.
I miss him, and I wish he would have tagged along with me to the house because our gross red carpet is horrible.
