Hopefully I can join in on another one of your recipe nights, considering my family thinks that chicken stirfry is an "out of the box" type of meal. You're so funny and smart sounding when you write. It is definitely a talent of yours.

WhitWhitnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5071240525495638295.post-30589821062173026912010-08-11T18:00:49.379-06:002010-08-11T18:00:49.379-06:00I am truly disappointed that you did not give me a...I am truly disappointed that you did not give me any credit for wonderfully equipping you over the years with a wealth of knowledge related to cooking. I'm so glad you're learning to cook, and to enjoy the process of creating yummy food.

Quinoa isn't too expensive at SuperStore (I pay probably 99cents/100 grams). Also, it's super amazing for you.

One of our staple meals is quinoa salad... Cook up your quinoa, fry some chickpeas and sunflower seeds in whatever spices you like (I like cumin and corriander, or a nice masala,) and throw it all together with spinach or greens plus your fave veggies. I like to add feta cheese and dried cranberries if I have them around -and we use balsalmic vinegar and olive oil for dressing. It's a very lovely summery meal.

Anyway, I think you're neato.
Love,
KristaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
